General information on the marking on the eyepieces:
1 = Working distance is 350mm (e.g. SV1, ST1, EX1, etc.)
2 = Working distance is 400mm (e.g. SV2, ST2, EX2, etc.)
3 = Working distance is 450mm (e.g. SV3, ST3, EX3, etc.)
Depth of field (=depth of focus)
We do not provide any specific information regarding the depth of field. These are often confused with the accommodation width by the various suppliers. This often results in utopian values. Since the accommodation width depends on the age, no correct statement can be made.
Example:
- 20 years old: 45-25cm (20cm)
- 52 years old: 45-38.5cm (6.5cm)
