The loupe is worn on the head by a special frame made of high-quality acetate (system carrier) and thus offers maximum mobility, as both hands are free to manipulate the object. The Carl Zeiss LV custom magnifying glasses (surgical microscope) are available in 2.0x and 2.5x magnification. In case of ametropia, a correction according to the prescription can be applied precisely. Presbyopia (age-related long-sightedness), which becomes noticeable after the age of 40, is particularly important. This means that you can see your surroundings, cutlery, equipment, assistants, computers, monitors, manuals, etc... sharply, clearly and in a relaxed manner while working. Individual adjustments of the convergence angle of the eyepieces, the height positioning of the optical system and the interpupillary distance can be made exactly. The Carl Zeiss LV custom loupes can also be adapted extremely precisely to any nose (including Asian noses) thanks to the adjustable nose rests/silicone pads. Fogging/tarnishing of the protective shield of the loupe glasses is prevented by the sufficiently large distance to the forehead!
